Martin Laumann-Ylvén (born December 22, 1988 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Vålerenga Ishockey in the GET-ligaen since 2015 .

Career

Martin Laumann-Ylvén began his career as an ice hockey player at Lørenskog IK , before moving to the junior division of the Swedish first division club Linköpings HC in 2004 , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Elitserien in the 2006/07 season . He remained pointless and punished in two games. In the following season he played 13 games on loan for IK Oskarshamn in HockeyAllsvenskan , the second Swedish division, before moving to his homeland in Norway on loan, where he played for Stjernen in the GET leagues . After good performance there, the attacker returned to Linköping, for which he was on the ice in all 55 games of the main round in the 2008/09 season . In these games he scored two scorer points, including one goal. In addition, the left shooter played for the first time in the Elitserien playoffs, in which he gave a template in seven games. In the following years the Norwegian managed to establish himself in the Elitserien. In January 2012, however, he left Sweden and returned to his home club Lørenskog IK, for which he played three and a half years in the local GET league. He has been under contract with league competitor Vålerenga Ishockey since 2015 .

International

For Norway, Laumann-Ylvén took part in the junior division of the U18 World Championships in Division I in 2005 and in the Top Division in 2006, as well as in Division I of the 2007 and 2008 U20 World Championships .

In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the 2009 , 2010 and 2011 World Championships and at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver . In the following years he also completed other international games for Norway, but without being nominated for further World Championships or Olympic Games.
