Martin Pasching

Martin Pasching (born June 24, 1969 in Vienna ) is an Austrian musical actor, singer and actor.

Life

Martin Pasching grew up in Vienna and began playing bass and singing in rock bands at an early age. In 1997 he went to the Performing Art Studios Vienna in Vienna and trained in singing, acting and dance for three years.

Martin Pasching already gained stage experience during this training: he was as Crown Prince Rudolf , Count Andrássy and Bay Middelton in the original production of Sisi-Your Imperial Beauty in St. Veit / Glan (set by Ernst Fuchs ) and as Ambros Kemper in Hello, Dolly! at the Stadttheater Baden, also in the ensemble of Sunday in the Park with George at the Interkult Theater in Vienna. For the Performing Arts , he was seen in numerous galas and musical highlight programs and was on stage in three school productions at the Raimund Theater in Vienna ( Body Electric , Cross the Line , Verliebte & Verrückte )

Following his training, Pasching was engaged as the first cast Buddy Holly in Buddy - the musical in Hamburg , where he could be seen until 2001. His next engagement took him to Berlin for the first time , where he appeared on stage at the Potsdamer Platz Theater as Swing and Phoebus (cover) in Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame . In spring 2002, at the same time as this production, he was also in Hamburg in the title role of Mozart! to be seen at the Neue Flora . | In the autumn of the same year he went to Essen to participate in the successful musical Elisabeth as Crown Prince Rudolf and as Death (cover). This was followed in 2003 by a renewed engagement in Berlin at the Theater des Westens as Enjolras in Les Misérables and as Tony in the West Side Story at the Deutsches Theater am Rhein.

In 2005 Martin played for the first time in Switzerland at the St. Gallen Theater . There he was seen as Arthur in the musical Dracula . In the summer months he stayed in Switzerland and played Chris in Miss Saigon at the Thunerseespiele .

Also in the Stuttgart version of Elisabeth he played Crown Prince Rudolf again and was now also seen as Luigi Lucheni (cover).

The Viennese returned to his homeland for two short engagements, where he appeared as Amadeus in the revue Mozart Goes Broadway in the Theater Center Forum and as Luiz in the operetta The Gondoliers at the Vienna Chamber Opera .

In spring 2007 he was part of the Japan tour of the musical Elisabeth der Vereinigte Bühnen Wien . He played Max von Mexico in Osaka and Tokyo and was seen again as Death (cover).

Back from Asia, he went back to Switzerland to Lake Thun and played Grantaire in Les Misérables and stood on stage as Jean Valjean.

In 2008 Martin Pasching was seen again in the musical Elisabeth as Baron Kempen, der Tod (cover) and Franz Joseph (cover) in the Theater des Westens in Berlin and in Theater 11 in Zurich .

In his hometown of Vienna he played the role of Kaiser Wilhelm II and Eduard Graf Taaffe (cover) at the Raimund Theater in Vienna from February 2009 to January 2010 in the musical Rudolf .

In the comedy musical What A Feeling II in the Contra-Kreis-Theater in Bonn, Martin benefited from his many years of band experience. In the spring of 2010 he took on the role of singer and bassist Olli.

From October 2011 he can be seen again as an ensemble / cover Tod on the Elisabeth tour. At the same time he plays the Radames in Aida on selected dates at the Darmstadt City Theater.
