Martin Nikolai Røymark (born November 10, 1986 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian ice hockey player who has been under contract with MODO Hockey at HockeyAllsvenskan since 2017 .

Career

Martin Røymark began his career as a hockey player in the junior division of Manglerud Star Ishockey , for whose professional team he played from 2002 to 2004 in the GET-ligaen , the highest Norwegian league, and after their relegation in the 2004/05 season in the second-rate 1st division was active. The winger spent the following four years with the Sparta Warriors in the GET-ligaen before he was signed by Frölunda HC from the Swedish Elitserien shortly before the end of the 2008/09 season . He also spent the following season with the team from Gothenburg, for which he played a total of 65 games in a year and a quarter, in which he scored five goals and gave four assists. For the 2010/11 season Røymark moved to the Elitserien for Timrå IK . After two seasons he was transferred to Färjestad BK.

Røymark has been on the ice in Liiga near Tappara in Finland since the 2016/17 season . In his first season in Finland he won the championship title with Tappara.

International

For Norway , Røymark took part in the junior division in the U18 Junior B World Championship 2003 and the U18 Junior World Championship 2004 as well as the U20 Junior B World Championship in 2005 and the U20 Junior World Championship in 2006 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the A-World Championships in 2008 , 2009 , 2010 and 2011 as well as at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and the qualifying tournament for them.
