A year later she won her first international medal with silver at the Mediterranean Games in Pescara .

In her second Olympic participation in London in 2012 , she reached the round of 16, where she was defeated by the Swede Sofia Mattsson and finished eighth in the tournament. After winning the bronze medal at the 2015 African Games in Brazzaville , she managed to defeat Yulia Ratkevich, who competed for Azerbaijan, at the 2016 Olympic Games in the welterweight championship and thus win the bronze medal. The following year she won the silver medal at the 2017 World Championships in Paris.
