Massa Fiscaglia ( Emilian : la Masa or Masafiscàja ) is a fraction of the Italian municipality ( comune ) Fiscaglia in the province of Ferrara in Emilia-Romagna .

The place is about 31 kilometers east-southeast of Ferrara on the orographic right bank of the Po di Volano , a tributary of the Po , at a height of m slm

history

Massa Fiscaglia was an independent municipality until 2013. On January 1, 2014, Massa Fiscaglia merged with Migliaro and Migliarino to form the new municipality of Fiscaglia. Neighboring communities were Codigoro , Lagosanto , Migliarino, Migliaro and Ostellato .

There is a train station on the branch line from Ferrara to Codigoro . The former state road 495 di Codigoro (today the provincial road 68 R) from Ripapersico (municipality of Portomaggiore) to the Adriatic coast runs past the village.
