Fiscaglia (Emilian: Fiscàja ) is an Italian commune ( comune ) with 8634 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Ferrara in Emilia-Romagna .
geography
The municipality in Migliaro is located about 28.5 kilometers east-southeast of Ferrara on the orographic right bank of the Po di Volano , a tributary of the Po , at a height of 1 m. Neighboring communities are Codigoro , Jolanda di Savoia , Lagosanto , Ostellato , Tresigallo .
history
The scattering community of Fiscaglia was formed by a merger approved on January 1, 2014 from the previously independent communities of Massa Fiscaglia , Migliarino and Migliaro.
Administrative division
In addition to Migliaro (municipality seat ), the municipal area also includes the fractions : Bassa Cornacervina, Massa Fiscaglia, Migliarino, Tieni and the towns of Canove, Cascina, Gallumara and Valcesura.
