Mateo Sušić (born November 18, 1990 in Mostar ) is a Bosnian football player .
Career
society
In 2008 Sušić moved from HNK Brotnjo Čitluk to HŠK Zrinjski Mostar . For Mostar he made his debut in the Premijer Liga on the 3rd match day of the 2008/09 season in a 3-1 win over NK Široki Brijeg . This season he also played in the qualification for the UEFA Champions League , after victories over FC Vaduz he was eliminated with Mostar in the second round against Sporting Braga . Mostar became champions at the end of the season.
For the 2010/11 season Sušić moved to Croatia in the 1st HNL to NK Istra. He made his debut for Istra on August 28, 2010, the 6th matchday. In the 2-2 draw against HNK Šibenik , he came on in the 19th minute. After three years in Croatia, Sušić moved to the 2nd Bundesliga for Energie Cottbus for the 2013/14 season . Sušić played some games for both the professionals in league 2nd and 2nd teams. In total, however, he only made 8 appearances this season. After the relegation of Energie Cottbus, he moved to CFR Cluj in Romania. In League 1 of the top division in Romania, there were 16 appearances in the 2014/15 season .
On January 23, 2015, he moved to the Republic of Moldova to join Sheriff Tiraspol. In 2015 he won the Moldovan Football Cup with the club and in the following season he won the Divizia Națională with Tiraspol , and was thus champion in Moldova.
National team
Sušić made his debut on June 5, 2009 in the international match against the U-21s of Macedonia , the game ended 1-1. He also played a few games in qualifying for the 2011 European Under-21 Football Championship .
On March 25, 2016 Sušić made his debut in the senior national team. In the friendly against Luxembourg , he came into play in the 46th minute for Ognjen Vranješ . At 1-0 in the 73rd minute, he submitted the template, which was sunk into the goal by opponent Maxime Chanot . The game ended 3-0 for Bosnia-Herzegovina.
