Mathias Hartmann

Mathias Hartmann (born June 17, 1966 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German pastor, rector and chairman of the Diakoneo board as well as pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria .

Life

Hartmann studied Protestant theology at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and stayed in Franconia afterwards . From 1993 to 1996 he worked as a vicar in Herzogenaurach , then between 1996 and 1998 as a student pastor in Bamberg . From 1998 to 2003 he was director of studies and managing director at the collegium oecumenicum Bamberg , an international student residence with a study center, which was taken over by the Diakonie Neuendettelsau in 2003. So Mathias Hartmann came to Diakonie Neuendettelsau, where he also took over the management of the International Academy DiaLog in Neuendettelsau in 2003 . In December 2007 he became, initially temporarily until June 2009, department director for youth and schools . In 2013, while still in the service of Diakonie Neuendettelsau, Hartmann received his doctorate in diaconia science (Dr. diaconiae) at the Church of Wuppertal / Bethel . Mathias Hartmann has been rector and chairman of the Diakonie Neuendettelsau (Diakoneo) since October 1, 2015.
