Mathias Löttge

Mathias Löttge (born January 9, 1958 in Salzwedel ) is a German politician (non-party, formerly: CDU and AfD ). From 2006 to 2011 he was a member of the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for the CDU .

Life

Löttge attended the Polytechnic High School and completed vocational training from 1974 to 1977. He then worked as a specialist salesperson until 1981, later as a sales point manager. Finally he became deputy department store manager of a company in Bitterfeld . From 1981 to 1984 he was a store manager in the consumer cooperative of Ribnitz-Damgarten and then to 1985 head of department of commerce. Löttge studied economics at the University of Rostock via distance learning from 1984 to 1988 . From 1987 to 1989 he worked as a company director in the consumer department in a baked goods company. He then worked for a year as a helping husband in his wife's business. After 1990 he completed various advanced training courses in administrative law . During this time he was mayor of the Born community from 1990 to 1992 and from 1992 to 1994 he was the main office manager and senior administrative officer of the Darß / Fischland office . He was then elected mayor of the Seeheilbad Graal-Müritz community and remained so until 1997 when he was elected mayor of the city of Barth .

politics

Löttge belonged to the North Western Pomerania district council as deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group. There he was deputy chairman of the culture and education committee and chairman of the district development and economic committee. He was a board member of the regional planning association for Western Pomerania and also chairman of the regional tourism association in Fischland-Darß-Zingst . Until 2010 he was President of the Deutsche Lebens-Rettungs-Gesellschaft e. V. (DLRG) of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. From November 2007 to November 2011 he was also chairman of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania tourism association. In the state election in 2006 , he moved about the direct mandate in constituency 25 - Nordvorpommern III / Stralsund I into the state parliament. From November 2006 to 2011 Löttge was deputy chairman of the finance committee and also spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group for finance and tourism policy. For health reasons, he did not run again for the 2011 state election.

In January 2014 Löttge announced his move to the Alternative für Deutschland party . In March 2014, he left the AfD again.
