Mats Felix Schöbel (born April 5, 1986 in Düsseldorf ) is a former German ice hockey player who last played for the Füchse Duisburg in the Regionalliga NRW .

Career

Mats Schöbel began with ice hockey in his hometown, but moved to the youth department of Adler Mannheim at an early age . With the Jungaldern, the winger won the championship in the German Junior League three times from 2002 to 2004 . The 2004/05 season played the left shooter for the youth teams of the Swedish Elitserien club Malmö IF , but returned to Germany after only one year and joined the league club Heilbronner Falken . In the 2006/07 season , Schöbel switched to league competitor Ratinger Ice Aliens and was given a production license by the Kölner Haien . After the Ratinger withdrew from the league, the attacker played the rest of the year, including the play-offs , exclusively for the DEL club.

In the 2008/09 season he played with a support license at SC Riessersee in the 2nd Bundesliga , before he joined the regional league team EV Duisburg before the 2009/10 season.
