Matthias Ludwig (born September 23, 1983 in Hamburg ) is a German film and television actor .

Life

Matthias Ludwig grew up in Hamburg. As a child, he lived with the family in Canada for a year . From 2008 he attended various acting and film workshops, first at the “acting coach” agency in Hamburg, then at the “ Martz & Walker” agency (training in Meisner technology) in Berlin .

Ludwig works as an actor for film and television. After his first film work, he has been in front of the camera regularly since 2011. He has appeared in several short films and has also worked as an advertising actor. In several TV series he had episode roles, u. a. in Coast Guard (2011, as a supposed technician and hostage-taker), Alles Waswas (2013, as an athlete who takes amphetamines , with Tatjana Clasing and Silvan-Pierre Leirich as partners), SOKO Stuttgart (2017, as a suspected American football player - Teams) and Dahoam is Dahoam (2018, as the new secretary in the Lansinger office).

In October 2018 he was in the Sat1 comedy Our Boys - Also Stripping Wants to Be Learned as a construction worker and amateur stripper Micha in one of the leading roles. He was also the Internet - Callboy Micha to fill the 10-part VOX series Milk & Honey (2018). He played the foreman Bernhard Sinkowicz in the Sat1 early evening series Alles oder Nothing (2018). In the two-part TV film Bier Royal (2018), he was the fitness trainer Justin, who also offers his customers sexual services. In the 13th season of the ZDF series SOKO Wismar (2020), Ludwig had a leading role in the episode as the owner of a bicycle shop and the suspected son of a dead pensioner.

Ludwig learned Capoeira , acrobatics , stage fighting , practiced various martial arts and is a licensed fitness trainer. In addition to sports , his hobbies also include baking . He also published a bakery cookbook called Recipes for Being Healthy .

Ludwig is a member of the Federal Drama Association (BFFS). He lives in Berlin.
