Matthias Neukirch

Matthias Neukirch (* 1963 in Aufseß ) is a German actor . He has been employed at the Schauspielhaus Zurich since 2015 . He is a member of the group a rose is .

Life

After graduating from high school at the old-language Bismarck-Gymnasium in Karlsruhe, Matthias Neukirch studied acting at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and was engaged at the Stuttgart State Theater , the Heilbronn Theater , the Theater am Neumarkt Zurich , the Kassel State Theater , the Mannheim National Theater and the Hanover Theater . He worked u. a. with the directors Jorinde Dröse , Christoph Frick , Jürgen Gosch , Stephan Kimmig , Julian Klein , Bruno Klimek , Annette Kuss , Sebastian Nübling , Nicolas Stemann , Roger Vontobel , Stefan Pucher , Tilmann Köhler and Jossi Wieler . He has been a member of the artist group a rose is since 2001, was a member of the ensemble at the Deutsches Theater Berlin from 2009 to 2015 and has been a member of the ensemble at the Schauspielhaus Zurich since then .

His own work Hans Schleif in collaboration with the director Julian Klein at the Deutsches Theater Berlin in coproduction with the ! KF - Institute for Artistic Research Berlin is a search for traces of his grandfather Hans Schleif . This production has been shown in the repertoire at the Schauspielhaus Zurich since the 2015/2016 season .
