Mauras Baltrukonis (born May 22, 1994 in Elektrėnai ) is a Lithuanian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Energija Elektrėnai in the Wysschaja Liga , the second highest Belarusian league, since 2017 .

Player career

Baltrukonis began his career in the youth division of the HK Dynamo Moscow and then played for the juniors of Atlant Mytishchi . From 2012 to 2015 he was with Tveritschi Tver in the Russian-influenced youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga B on the ice. Since 2015, interrupted by a year at Juodupes Juodupe from the Lithuanian league, he has been playing for Energija Elektrėnai from his hometown in the Vysschaja Liga , the second highest Belarusian league.

International

In the junior division, Baltrukonis was on the ice for Lithuania at the U18 World Championships 2010 in Division I and 2011 and 2012 in Division II as well as the U20 World Championships in 2011 in Division I and in 2012 and 2014 in Division II.

He made his debut in the men's national team at the 2012 World Cup in Division I, in which he also played in 2015 and 2016 . He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 and in the tournaments for the Baltic Cup in 2016 and 2017.
