Maxim Sergejewitsch Chudjakow (born August 18, 1986 in Ust-Kamenogorsk , Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh ice hockey player who has been under contract with Beibarys Atyrau since June 2017 . His brother Sergei is also a Kazakh national ice hockey player.

Career

Maxim Chudjakow began his career as a hockey player in Russia, where he was active from 2002 to 2004 for the second teams of the professional clubs HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk and HK Sibir Novosibirsk in the third-rate Pervaya League . Then the attacker returned to Kazakhstan and played in the 2004/05 season for Barys Astana in parallel in the Kazakh championship , as well as the Russian Pervaya League. In the following season he ran for Kasachmys Karaganda and Gornjak Rudny in the Kazakh championship. For Gornjak Rudny he also played three times in the Pervaya League.

The 2006/07 season began Chudjakow at the Russian club Metallurg Serow in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division, but left this after only 17 games and was for three years until 2009 at HK Sary-Arka Karaganda in the Perwaja Liga, Wysschaja Liga and Kazakh championship on the ice. Before the 2010/11 season , the right-handed shooter was committed by his ex-club Barys Astana, for which he was used in the Continental Hockey League in the following two years . He then returned to HK Sary-Arka Karaganda in May 2012 and moved to HK Ryazan in the Wysschaja Hockey League in 2013 .

Since January 2014 Chudjakow was with HK Ertis Pavlodar in the Kazakh Championship under contract and won with this the championship title in 2014 and 2015. In 2015 he returned to Barys Astana, where he makes a new attempt in the Continental Hockey League .

International

For Kazakhstan , Chudjakow took part in the junior division of the U20 World Junior Championships in Division I in 2005 and 2006 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the World Championships in Division I in 2011 and 2015 . At the 2016 World Cup , he played in the top division for the first time, but could not keep up with the Kazakhs there. He also represented his colors at the Winter Asian Games , where he won the gold medal with the Kazakh selection, and in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 .
