Maxim Gurow

Maxim Gurow ( Russian Максим Гуров ; born January 30, 1979 ) is a former Kazakh cyclist .

Career

Maxim Gurow began his international career in 2003 with the French cycling team MBK-Oktos . He received his first contract with a UCI ProTeam in 2007 with Astana , for which he also drove in 2010 and with which he ended his career after the 2011 season.

Gurow's greatest success was winning the Kazakh Road Championships in 2010. He took part in the Giro d'Italia twice: in 2007 he was 118th and in 2011 he was 56th.

In the course of the doping investigation by the Public Prosecutor of Padua at the end of 2014, he was suspected of having been a customer of the controversial sports medicine specialist Michele Ferrari .
