McDonald's Super Smash 2016/17
The McDonald's Super Smash 2016/17 was the eleventh season of as HRV Cup designated New Zealand Twenty20 - Cricket championship and was held on 4 December 2016 to 7 January 2017th The traditional first-class teams representing New Zealand districts took part in the tournament. In the final, the Wellington Firebirds prevailed against Central District Stags with 14 runs .
prehistory
As of this season, the competition will take on the name of the main sponsor McDonald’s . The tournament schedule was presented on September 2nd and includes 32 preliminary round matches and two final round matches. The tournament has been postponed to the New Zealand holiday season and numerous games have been moved to New Zealand holiday regions.
