Ministry of Information
The Ministry of Information , also called the Ministry of Communication , is a ministry that specifically takes care of information and communication issues . They are available in two forms:
- as a media ministry, that is, a ministry that deals with the relationship between state-society and the mass media . This term also includes censorship authorities , as well as the authorities known as the Propaganda Ministry for maintaining a politically wanted image in reporting (state press work ). Otherwise these are matters of a security ministry or general interior ministry
- as the Ministry of Information Technology , i.e. the affairs of the new media in particular , on the one hand as the technology / innovation ministry or the infrastructure ministry for their expansion and the promotion of accessibility, as well as the administration ministry for the expansion of eGovernment . In this form, the ministries are naturally the most recent
The two aspects mix within a ministry, depending on the government's intentions.
Historically, these ministries are derived from the post office of the 19th century, and mostly also have custody of the employees of the postal service.
