Mehr-Entertainment GmbH (spelling: Mehr! Entertainment) is a German group of companies in the entertainment sector. The owner is Maik Klokow . The Düsseldorf company currently operates the Starlight Express Theater Bochum , the Capitol Theater Düsseldorf , the Musical Dome Cologne , the Admiralspalast Berlin and the Mehr! Theater am Großmarkt Hamburg .

Companies

On January 1, 2013, the group of companies took over the majority stake in the Hamburg concert promoter ass concerts & promotion gmbh, thereby expanding its portfolio to include the “concert events” segment in German-speaking countries. In 2015 Klokow opened the next theater of his group of companies, the Mehr! Theater am Großmarkt Hamburg . It is also part of the corporate strategy that all theaters are also rented out to companies and external providers.

In April 2018 Maik Klokow sold the group of companies to the British theater operator The Ambassador Theater Group (ATG) , he will remain as managing director and producer. Since July 2018, Mehr! Entertainment as Mehr-BB Entertainment GmbH.

Employee

Around 450 employees work in the technical area, in gastronomy, in administration and accounting at the company's six locations. The artists are employed on fixed-term contracts. The company trains u. a. Event salespeople and event technicians in his houses. The company is not bound by collective bargaining agreements . In 2011, the daily newspaper Neues Deutschland described the company as "predominantly without a works council or collective bargaining agreement."
