Meike Kämper (* 23. April 1994 in Essen ) is a German football - goalkeeper that when MSV Duisburg is under contract.

Career

Meike Kämper began her footballing career with her home club VfL Sportfreunde 07 Essen and in 2008 moved to the youth department of FCR 2001 Duisburg . In 2009 she won the U-17 national cup with the selection of the Niederrhein Football Association . After a few appearances for Duisburg's second team, she finally made her debut in the first Bundesliga on November 12, 2011 in a 3-1 win against Bayern Munich .

National team

So far, Kämper has gone through all of the junior selections of the German Football Association . After 2008 and 2009 in four games the gate of the 15 junior girls U- had kept, she took in 2010 with the U-16 national team at the Nordic Cup in part and finished there after a final defeat against the United States ranked second. In the same year she was part of the German team that was eliminated from the U-17 World Cup in the quarter-finals, but remained there without use. In 2011 she was part of the German squad at the U-17 European Championship and was substituted on in the game for third place after half-time. On October 26, 2011, Kämper was part of the test match against the Swedish team for the first time for the German U-19 national team and took part in the 2013 European Championship in Wales . In 2012 she was part of the U-20 national team , which finished second at the World Cup in Japan. With the team they also participated in the from 5 to 24 August 2014 in Canada discharged U-20 World Cup in part, denied five of six tournament games and was awarded the 1: 0 victory n. V. in the final against the selection of Nigeria World champion. She was awarded the Golden Glove as the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
