In 2010 Meike Schlüter reads from the first volume of the German-language complete edition of Jean-Henri Fabre's Memoirs of an Entomologist at the Museum für Naturkunde (Berlin) .

Meike Schlüter ( married Rötzer ; born May 18, 1971 in Bielefeld ) is a German actress and editor .

Life

After graduating from the Birklehof boarding school , Meike Schlüter completed her training at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich between 1992 and 1996 . She first gained stage experience in the 1996/97 season at the Badisches Staatstheater , Karlsruhe , and then until 2000 at the stages of the state capital Kiel . Further stations were the Altonaer Theater in Hamburg and the Berlin Sophiensaele .

During this time she was in front of the camera for the two films One of My Oldest Friends (1994) and After Five in the Jungle (1995). From 2002 to 2004 she played the role of "Kerstin Herzog" in the television series Hinter Gittern - Der Frauenknast , first as a prisoner and then as "Dr. Kerstin Herzog ”. This was followed by the role of the "night nurse" in the award-winning comedy From the Depth of Space - ... right into the net! (2004).

In addition to speaking for various radio stations and numerous readings, she has been working as a lecturer for the Matthes & Seitz Berlin publishing house since 2008 . She is married to its director, Andreas Rötzer .
