action

Tessa von Künsthal knows how to balance family and work. Although her son Manuel is pubescent and she has rarely seen her husband Thomas Arnold lately, she believes that she is in complete control of her life.

Until one day she catches her husband kissing his cousin. Desperate, she takes refuge in her little mountain hut. This is where the US millionaire Frank, who came to Europe to follow in the footsteps of his childhood, got lost. He languishes at Tessa, but she doesn't want to give in yet. The triangle begins to intensify. Then Tessa's son, who now needs both parents, has an accident. Desperate, Tessa notifies her cousin Leon. As a trauma surgeon, he can operate on the paralyzed child and accomplishes the almost impossible - the boy becomes healthy again and can walk. Tessa and Frank are overjoyed and get married a little later.

background

After Albert Fortell prepared the first version of the script, Barbara Piazza, who wrote the first episodes of the German television series Lindenstrasse together with Hans W. Geißendörfer, was hired for the final version. Piazza also wrote 78 episodes of the ZDF series All My Daughters and the script for the TV film Herz ohne Krone .

Reviews

"Helmut Förnbacher [...] manages to translate the story into the cliché box without too deep handles."
