Alexander Wussow

Alexander Wussow (born October 6, 1964 in Vienna ) is a German actor and painter born in Austria .

Life

Alexander “Sascha” Wussow's parents are the actors Klausjürgen Wussow and Ida Krottendorf ; his sister is the actress Barbara Wussow , his brother-in-law the actor Albert Fortell .

In Vienna he completed an acting training at the drama school Krauss and took dance and singing lessons at the same time. He then played for some time at the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna, later also at the Berlin Renaissance Theater under the director Gerhard Klingenberg . In 1995 Wussow gave up his permanent position at the theaters and has been a freelance actor ever since.

Wussow is a hobby painter and has had his own studio in his hometown since 1995 . He took part in a number of exhibitions with his works. He also lent his voice to various audio book versions of the works of Nicholas Sparks and Silke Ramelow. In 2008 he played Old Firehand at the Karl May Games in Bad Segeberg .

Like his sister Barbara, Alexander Wussow is also an ambassador for the German Childhood Cancer Follow-up Foundation for the chronically ill child in Villingen-Schwenningen. The foundation was founded in 1990 by their father Klausjürgen Wussow, among others, and supports families with seriously ill children.

In December 2017 he married his partner and manager Andrea Mostler, to whom he was engaged since May 2017.
