The Merdaret is a river in France that runs in the Isère department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises under the name Ruisseau de Murinais in the municipality of Murinais , generally drains towards the south-southwest and flows into the Furand after around 19 kilometers in the municipality of Saint-Hilaire-du-Rosier as a left tributary . The Merdaret is accompanied by the A49 motorway for the last five kilometers .
