The Furand is a river in France that runs in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the municipality of Saint Antoine l'Abbaye , flows in an S-shape, but generally in a south-westerly direction through the Isère department and flows into the Isère as a right tributary after 20.5 kilometers at Saint-Lattier . On its lower reaches the river accompanies the A49 motorway .
