Mexico , Tagalog : Bayan ng Mexico , is a Filipino municipality in the province of Pampanga , in the administrative region III, Central Luzon . According to the 2015 census, Mexico had 154,624 residents living in 43 barangays . It is classified as a first income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .

Mexico's neighboring communities are Magalang in the north, Arayat in the northeast, Santa Ana in the east, San Luis in the southeast, San Simon in the south, San Fernando in the west, Angeles City and Mabalacat in the northwest. The topography of the city is characterized by the flatlands of the central Luzon lowlands, in the northeast lies the extinct Arayat volcano .
