Minalin , Tagalog : Bayan ng Minalin , is a Filipino municipality in the province of Pampanga , in the administrative region III, Central Luzon . According to the 2015 census, Minalin had 47,713 residents who lived in 15 barangays . It is classified as a fourth income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .
Minalin's neighboring communities are Santo Tomas and Bacolor in the north, San Simon in the northeast, Apalit in the east, Macabebe in the south, Sasmuan in the southwest and Guagua in the west. The topography of the city is characterized by the flatlands of the central Luzon lowlands.
