Mabalacat , Tagalog : Bayan ng Mabalacat , is a Filipino municipality in the province of Pampanga , in the administrative region III, Central Luzon . According to the 2015 census, Mabalacat had 250,799 residents who lived in 27 barangays . It is classified as the first income class community in the Philippines and as urbanized .

Mabalacat's neighboring communities are Bamban in the north, Concepcion in the northeast, both in the province of Tarlac, Magalang in the east, Mexico in the southeast, Angeles City in the south, and Porac in the west. The topography of the city is characterized by the flatlands of the central Luzon lowlands in the eastern part and the foothills of the Zambales Mountains in the western part of the municipality.

The Diosdado Macapagal International Airport - formerly "Clark Airbase" or "Clark" for short, ( IATA code CRK, ICAO code RPLC) - is located in Mabalacat, after agriculture it is the most important economic factor in the community.
