Michaël Guigou (born January 28, 1982 in Apt , France ) is a French handball player . He is 1.79 m tall and weighs 78 kg.

Giugou, who plays for the French club USAM Nîmes and plays for the French men's national handball team (shirt number 21), is mostly used as a left winger. As a national player, Guigou held all three major world handball titles twice at the same time.

Career

In his youth Michaël Guigou played in his home Apt and in nearby Avignon, but in 1999 he was signed by the French top club Montpellier Handball . With the southern French he won the French championship in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2016 French Cup, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2014 and 2016 the French League Cup and 2003 and 2018 the EHF Champions League .
