Michael Beisteiner

Michael Beisteiner (born April 29, 1977 in Lower Austria , Pitten , Bucklige Welt ) is an Austrian writer . He lives and works in Vienna and Kladovo (Serbia).

Life

Michael Beisteiner attended the Catholic elementary school in Sta. From 1983 to 1987 . Christiana in Frohsdorf . From 1987 to 1991 he was taught at the Redemptorist high school in Katzelsdorf . In 1996 he graduated from the higher education institute for business professions in Wiener Neustadt . This was followed by community service. He then studied philosophy and cultural and social anthropology at the University of Vienna . He broke off his studies and began to travel through Europe , South America and Africa . He keeps the diaries for these trips under lock and key.  

Michael Beisteiner has been a freelance writer since 2008. He wrote for 25magazine and publishes books in prose, poetry and children's books.

From 2005 to 2015 he was the singer and lyricist of the hardcore punk band SPORT

Michael Beisteiner has been running a part-time farm in Kladovo, Serbia since 2017 .

He is in a relationship with a Serbian woman and has two children together.

Participation in a literature prize is not proven. There are also no works by him in literary magazines.

Some of his texts have been translated into Greek.
