Michael Didi Adgum Mangoria

Michael Didi Adgum Mangoria (born January 1, 1959 in Engoth ) is a Sudanese clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Khartoum .

Life

Michael Didi Adgum Mangoria was ordained a priest on May 10, 1992 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on May 29, 2010 Coadjutor Bishop of El Obeid . The Archbishop of Khartoum , Cardinal Gabriel Zubeir Wako , donated him episcopal ordination on August 15 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Macram Max Gassis MCCJ , Bishop of El Obeid, and Antonio Menegazzo MCCJ, Apostolic Administrator Emeritus of El Obeid. After the age-related retirement of his predecessor Macram Max Gassis, he became Bishop of El Obeid on October 28, 2013.

Pope Francis appointed him Coadjutor Archbishop of Khartoum on August 15, 2015 . At the same time he was appointed Apostolic Administrator of El Obeid for the period of the Sedis vacancy .

With the age-related resignation of Cardinal Gabriel Zubeir Wako on December 10, 2016, he succeeded him as Archbishop of Khartoum .
