Cyryl Klimowicz

Cyryl Klimowicz (born November 5, 1952 in Amangeldi ) is a Polish priest, Bishop of St. Joseph of Irkutsk and Apostolic Administrator of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk .

Life

The Bishop of Warmia , Józef Glemp , ordained him a priest on June 8, 1980 . Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Minsk - Mahiljou and titular bishop of Arba on October 13, 1999 .

The Archbishop of Minsk-Mahiljou , Cardinal Kazimierz Świątek , donated him episcopal ordination on December 4th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Dominik Hrušovský , Apostolic Nuncio in Belarus , and Aleksander Kaszkiewicz , Bishop of Hrodna .

On April 17, 2003 he was appointed Bishop of St. Joseph of Irkutsk and Diocesan Administrator of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk .
