Michael Gallup (* 4. March 1996 in Atlanta , Georgia ) is an American American football poker players on the position of wide receiver . He is currently active for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League (NFL).

college

Gallup played at Butler Community College in El Dorado , Kansas , from 2014 . In his year as a freshman , he scored 11 touchdowns and caught 780 yards. A knee injury forced Gallup to skip much of the 2015 season . He could only play four games in which he managed a touchdown.

After the 2015 season, Gallup's former high school coach contacted the Colorado State Rams Offensive Coordinator . This ensured a scholarship for Gallup at Colorado State University. In the first season with his new team, he scored 14 touchdowns at 1,272 yards.

In 2017, Gallup was one of the last three finalists for the Fred Biletnikoff Award , but did not win the award.

After the season, Gallup was invited to the Senior Bowl .

Professional career

The Dallas Cowboys selected the wide receiver in the third round, 81st place, of the 2018 NFL Draft . Gallup then signed a four-year contract for $ 3.5 million.

Gallup made his NFL debut as a rookie on Matchday 1 of the 2018 season . In the 16-8 loss to the Carolina Panthers he was able to catch a pass for nine yards of space. Gallup ended his first season with a total of 33 passes captured for 507 yards of space. He got two touchdowns.

During the 2019 season, Gallup injured his knee again, necessitating an operation on the meniscus. He then missed two season games. Gallup had 66 captured passes for 1,107 yards at the end of the season. He scored six touchdowns.
