Michael Grimm (born March 15, 1944 in Pulsnitz , Saxony ) is a German actor .

From September 1963 to May 1966 Grimm trained as a tax consultant and in the evenings attended the drama school of the well-known Munich teacher Oskar von Schab . In May 1966 he made his theatrical debut with Friedrich Schiller's Die Räuber at the Franconian-Swabian City Theater in Dinkelsbühl. Then Grimm worked as a freelancer and went on tours with piece contracts, which took him to northern and southern Germany but also to Austria (Graz). He has been seen in northern Germany since 1985, when he appeared as Der Ölprinz in the Karl May play of the same name, and several times at the Karl May Festival in Bad Segeberg.

In the film since 1969, Grimm worked in the same year at the side of his teacher Schab in the vampire film Jonathan by Hans W. Geissendörfer . Five years later, the artist received another supporting role, this time alongside Clint Eastwood and Heidi Brühl , in the US thriller On behalf of the dragon , which was written in Germany in the summer of 1974 . In 1991 he got a continuous role with Mr. Ritschel in the ZDF series Our Hagenbecks . This was followed by participation in several television series, since the 2000s Michael Grimm has also appeared again and again in individual Tatort and Police Call 110 episodes.
