Michael Koch (* 1973 in Braunschweig ) is a German photographer and visual artist .

life and work

Koch began his studies of communication design at the University of Essen (formerly Folkwangschule Essen ) in 1998 with a focus on artistic photography, history and theory of photography, which he completed in 2004 with a diploma from Bernhard Prinz and Herta Wolf . He had his first exhibitions during his studies. Koch has received several awards for his work.

Koch works in various thematic groups of works and exhibits them in a space-related hanging. Portraits, still lifes and depictions of nature form the focus of his photographic work. Often the photographs are supplemented with objects and installations in the room.

He lives and works in Düsseldorf .
