Bernhard Prinz (photographer)
Bernhard Prinz (* 1953 in Fürth ) is a visual artist and lives and works in Hamburg .
Life
Bernhard Prinz studied art history at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg in 1975/1976 and fine arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg from 1976–1981 . He began to take up photography at an early age. As early as 1980 he exhibited photographic works in the Näke Gallery , Nuremberg . In Hamburg he was first represented by the Hamburg producers' gallery. Since 2004 he has been a professor for experimental photography at the Kunsthochschule Kassel .
