Michael Mols (born December 17, 1970 in Amsterdam ) is a former Dutch football player .

Career

society

Mols began his career in 1991 with SC Cambuur in the honor division . In the 1992/93 season he moved within the Eredivisie to FC Twente Enschede . For the 1996/97 season he moved to FC Utrecht , where he became the top scorer with 49 goals in 94 games. For the 1999/2000 season he signed with the Glasgow Rangers , with whom he won the Scottish Championship twice and the Cup three times. For the 2004/05 season he moved back to his home country for FC Utrecht. Since the 2005/06 season he played for ADO Den Haag . For the 2007/08 season Mols moved to Feyenoord Rotterdam on a free transfer , where he should be an alternative to the newly arrived Roy Makaay . In 2009 he ended his active career there.

For the Dutch national soccer team he played six games without scoring.
