Michael Pfaff (born July 2, 1988 in Bad Tölz ) is a former German ice hockey player who was under contract for the majority of his career with the Tölzer Löwen in the major league .

Career

Pfaff has played in the DNL team of the Tölzer Young Lions since 2003 . After three years with the youth team, the defender has been on the ice with the Tölzer Löwen in the major league since the 2006/07 season . There the right-handed shooter was able to prove himself and was also distinguished by numerous scorer points. In the 2008/09 season the defender was in the squad of the Straubing Tigers from the DEL by means of a promotion license , but he did not play a game for Straubing and only played for Bad Tölz in the 2nd Bundesliga . After Oberbayern relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga after only one season, he remained loyal to his home club in the Oberliga until 2012. When the Lions in 2012 received a license for the 2. Bundesliga despite the profits of the German league championship, he left the club and then let his career until 2014 when TSV Peißenberg in the fourth-class Bavarian League finish

International

Michael Pfaff took part in the U20 World Cup in Division I in 2008 , where he was promoted back to the top pool with the German team. The defender emerged from the tournament as the player with the best plus / minus statistics.
