Michel Jonasz
Michel Jonasz (born January 21, 1947 in Drancy ) is a French singer , songwriter and actor .
Life
He was born to Hungarian immigrants . He had his first record successes in France in 1967 with his band Le King set , his breakthrough came in 1974 with his first LP (together with Alain Goldstein and Frank Thomas) with titles such as Super Nana and Dites-moi . In the following years he rose to the top league of French-speaking musicians with titles such as Les vacances au bord de la mer (1975) and Je voulais te dire que je t'attends (1976). Numerous awards ( gold and platinum records in France), tours in France - with weeks in the Paris Olympics -, Belgium, Switzerland, Portugal, Morocco and Canada made him known beyond France. To date he has released more than 25 albums / CDs and starred in several films (for example: Le tango des Rashevski , 2002).
In the early years, his preferred music was French hit parade pop, albeit with relatively demanding, literary texts. Today his music is a mixture of pop , jazz and blues , which has always fascinated him. It is almost unknown in Germany.
