Michele Hicks
Michele Hicks (born June 4, 1973 in Essex County , New Jersey ) is an American actress and former model .
life and career
Michele Hicks is from New Jersey. At the age of 14 she moved into a shared apartment in New York City, at 16 she dropped out of school to work as a model. After initial problems in the industry, she was soon able to increase her profile. After a few years as a model, she decided to become an actress and took lessons for it. Her first role in front of the camera followed in 1999 with a role in the independent film Twin Falls Idaho . This was followed by appearances in Everything Put Together Ropewalk and in the thriller Mulholland Drive - Street of Darkness . In 2003 she starred in the fantasy drama Northfork . At the same time, she appeared in the series Criminal Intent - Verbrechen im Visier , Law & Order: Special Victims Unit , CSI: NY and Cold Case - No Victim Is Ever Forgotten in guest roles. From 2004 to 2008 she was Mara Sewell in the series The Shield .
In 2006 she starred as Amy Sykes in the series Heist in one of the leading roles. However, the series was discontinued after one season. Other guest appearances followed in Life , The Mentalist , Blue Bloods - Crime Scene New York , Elementary and Orange Is the New Black . In 2015 she played a supporting role as Sharon Knowles in the first season of Mr. Robot . She also took on a supporting role as Kay O'Bannon in Public Morals .
Personal
Hicks has been married to British actor Jonny Lee Miller since 2008 . You are the parents of a son. She and a friend have been running a Pilates studio in New York City since 1997.
