Michelle Castelletti

Michelle Castelletti (* 1974 ) is a Maltese conductor , composer and singer .

Life

Michelle Castelletti was born into a family of artists and received her education at the University of Malta and Canterbury Christ Church University, among others . She has worked with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra , the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hallé Orchestra , among others . On January 26, 2017, she conducted the world premiere of Reuben Paces Concertino for guitar , harpsichord and orchestra at the Teatru Manoel as part of the Valletta International Baroque Festival . Castelletti is currently Artistic Director of the Malta Arts Festival and the Royal Northern College of Music .
