Michael W. Brown (born April 29, 1979 in Surrey , British Columbia ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player who played for the Vancouver Canucks , Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and Chicago Blackhawks in the National Hockey League from 1994 to 2006 has played.

Career

Mike Brown began his career in the Western Hockey League with the Red Deer Rebels and Kamloops Blazers . In 1997 he was selected by the Florida Panthers as the 20th player in the NHL Entry Draft . During the 1999/2000 season he made his American Hockey League debut for the Syracuse Crunch . Two seasons later, he made his National Hockey League debut for the Vancouver Canucks . During the 2001/02 season he completed another 15 NHL games for the Canucks, but was otherwise used in the AHL for the Manitoba Moose . Before the following season he was signed by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and went on the ice in a total of 16 games for the Ducks, in which he scored his only NHL goal.

During the 2005/06 season he played mainly for the Norfolk Admirals . He was also called up for two games in the Chicago Blackhawks squad before retiring.
