Michael Francis "Mike" Sullivan (born June 16, 1992 in Toronto , Ontario ) is an Italian - Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Dundee Stars in the Elite Ice Hockey League since 2018 . His brother Daniel is also an Italian international.

Career

Sullivan began his career in the Ontario Junior Hockey League, where he played for Ajax Attack, the Georgetown Raiders and the Markham Waxers. Previously, he was selected in the 2008 OHL Priority Selection 2008 by the Brampton Battalion in the 15th round as a total of 296th player, but was ultimately not signed. During his studies, he played for the Bowling Green Falcons , the team at Bowling Green State University , from 2011 to 2015 , initially in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association and, after its dissolution in 2015, in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association of the National Collegiate Athletic Association . In 2015 he ventured to Europe and joined Asiago Hockey from the Italian Serie A , where his brother Daniel was already playing. With the Venetians, he won the Supercoppa in 2015 and the Alps Hockey League in 2018 , with the best plus / minus balance in the league himself . He then moved to the Dundee Stars in the British Elite Ice Hockey League .

International

After his naturalization to Italy, Sullivan played for the first time at the 2018 World Cup in Division I for Italy , where he rose to the top division with the Azzurri.
