The 44th Baza Lotnictwa Morskiego is a military airfield of the Polish Navy ( Marynarka Wojenna Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej ). The base is in the Pomeranian Voivodeship in the powiat (district) Lęborski / Lauenburg , in the area of Gmina Cewice / rural community Zewitz about one kilometer north of the center of Siemirowice / Schimmerwitz and 15 km south of the district town.
Todays use
It serves the Naval Aviation Brigade , Polish: Brygada Lotnictwa Marynarki Wojennej (BLMW) of the Polish Navy as a military airfield , since the beginning of 2011 under the designation 44th Baza Lotnictwa Morskiego (44th BLM). Here are PZL-M28 stationed -Transportflugzeuge.

The second location of the 44th Naval Aviation Base is the Darłowo helipad , 100 km west of the Baltic Sea , where the Navy's SAR helicopters are located.
During the Cold War there was an alternate airfield for the main base in Siemirowice , 25 km north, northeast of Łebień / Labehn .
