Millendorf is a district of Bedburg in the Rhein-Erft-Kreis , North Rhine-Westphalia . Local mayor of Millendorf and Lipp is Helmut Breuer ( SPD ) as of May 2011 .

location

Millendorf is north of Bedburg. The federal motorway 61 runs directly on the western edge of the village . The Bedburg junction is on the northwest corner of the village. Oppendorf is only separated from Millendorf by a motorway underpass.

history

Millendorf, formerly called Middelendorp , is an old castle settlement with mostly brick buildings from the 19th century. The square complex of the Ivenhof from the 17th century is a listed building .

Until the Second World War , Etgendorf, Millendorf and Oppendorf with the Schunkenhof and the Gaulshütte belonged to the then still independent municipality of Lipp.
