history

Kirchtroisdorf and Kleintroisdorf were already settled in the early Middle Ages . Archaeological finds have shown this. The village used to be the seat of the von Troisdorf knights. A chapel was connected to the court festivals , which is called the parish church around 1300 .

Only at the beginning of the 14th century are the two places designated separately.

Kleintroisdorf is a former farm stay and originally owned three large farms . The Hausmannshof as the successor to the Kerpener Kapitelhof is the largest farm in town.
