Miraflores is a town in the Beni department in the lowlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Miraflores is the third largest town in the canton of Perotó in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) of San Andrés in the province of Marbán . The village is located at an altitude of 167 m on a left tributary of the Río Mariquipiri , which flows north of Trinidad near San Javier into the Río Mamoré .

Miraflores is located in the Bolivian lowlands in the Moxos plain , with over 100,000 km² one of the largest wetlands on earth. The predominant form of vegetation in the San Andrés region is the tropical savannah .
The annual average temperature is 26 ° C (see climate diagram Trinidad), with the monthly average temperatures between June / July at a good 23 ° C and October / December of just under 28 ° C only slightly different. The annual precipitation is almost 2000 mm and is therefore more than twice as high as the precipitation in Central Europe. Maximum values of around 300 mm in the months of December to February contrast with low values of around 50 mm in July / August.

Miraflores is 36 kilometers by road southeast of Trinidad , the capital of the department.
From Miraflores a dirt road leads three kilometers eastwards via the neighboring town of Somopae to the Ruta 9 highway , which crosses the entire Bolivian lowland in a north-south direction - from Guayaramerín in the north-east of the country to Trinidad and past Miraflores to the lowland metropolis Santa Cruz and on to Yacuiba on the Argentine border.
