Miroslaw Vinajewitsch Kultyshev ( Russian Мирослав Винаевич Култышев ; born August 21, 1985 in Leningrad , Soviet Union ) is a Russian pianist .

Life

Kultyshev gave his first concert at the age of six. At the age of ten he performed in the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic , where he performed Mozart's Concerto No. 20, KV 466 played under the direction of Yuri Temirkanow . He studied at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory and received scholarships from the Yuri Bashmet Foundation and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Society. In 1996 she made her debut with the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic .

Since 2006 he has been a lecturer and active participant in the St. Petersburg House of Music. He has toured in Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Great Britain, the United States, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, the United Arab Emirates and the Ukraine. From 2006 to 2007 he took part in an internship at the International Holland Music Sessions.

He has released an album that contains all twelve Études d'exécution transcendante by Franz Liszt . Kultyshev tours regularly with the conductor Valeri Gergiev . He also worked with the conductors Wladimir Aschkenasi , Konstantin Orbelian, Juri Baschmet and Vassily Sinaisky.

  • 2005: First Prize and Gold Medal of the International Youth Delphic Games (Ukraine, Kiev)
  • 2005: Audience award at the Kissinger Piano Olympics
  • 2007: Silver medal, 13th International Tchaikovsky Competition ; (Winner, as no 1st prize was awarded)
  • 2010: Diploma, 16th International Chopin Competition
  • 2012: Monte Carlo Piano Masters, 1st prize
