Mitja Mörec (born February 21, 1983 in Murska Sobota ) is a Slovenian football player .
Career
society
Mörec's first professional station was the NK Mura in the first Slovenian league. In 2002 he moved to SK Sturm Graz . The central defender made his first games for Sturm in the Regionalliga with the amateurs. He had his first appearance in the Austrian Bundesliga in 2004. After engagements with Maccabi Herzliya in Israel , CSKA Sofia , Slavia Sofia and Lyngby BK , he was under contract with the Dutch honorary division ADO Den Haag in the 2011/12 season . In 2012 he switched back to the ND Mura 05 . After Mörec played for Qaisar Qysylorda in the 2013 season, he moved to Rəvan Baku FK in Azerbaijan in 2014 .
In 2015 Mörec ended his professional career Hoàng Anh Gia Lai in Vietnam. He went to the Austrian amateur club FC Bad Radkersburg in the Styrian lower league south (sixth league level). There he played until 2017. Since the beginning of 2019 he has played for the Favoritner AC in the Vienna City League .
National team
Mörec was a Slovenian U-21 international. Since 2007 he has played 14 games for the Slovenian national team .
