The Mittelberg is 145.5 m above sea level. NHN high elevation of the Calvör Mountains . It is located in the southern part of the municipality of Calvörde in the Saxony-Anhalt district of Börde .

The Mittelberg is located in the south of the Calvörder Mountains in the Calvörder Forest . It is located in the south of the district of Calvörde between the villages of Wieglitz in the northeast, Bülstringen in the southeast and Flechtingen in the west-southwest. To the north-north-west lies the Rabenberg ( 145.7 m ), the highest elevation of the Calvörder Mountains, and south-south-east the Jacobsberg ( 127.5 m ). To the east runs the state road 24 (Calvörde – Flechtingen).
Natural allocation
The Mittelberg belongs to the natural spatial main unit group Weser-Aller-Flachland (No. 62), in the main unit East Brunswick Flatland (624) and in the subunit Obisfelder-Calvörde terminal moraine plates (624.5) to the natural area Calvörn Hügelland (624.53).
Description and history
In the area of the Mittelberg lies the Calvörde forest with a coniferous forest . The Calvörde fire watch tower , whose predecessor used to stand on the nearby Rabenberg, stands on the mountain .
