Mizerna is a village in the Czorsztyn municipality in the Nowotarski powiat of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland .

geography

The place is located on the northern bank of the Czorsztyn reservoir on the southern slopes of the Gorce , specifically the Lubań mountain range , in the Podhale region on the voivodship road 969 from Nowy Targ to Nowy Sącz .

tourism

Since the construction of the reservoir, tourism has played an increasingly important role. The tourist infrastructure is well developed. There is a modern St. Mary's Church in the village. Some of the medieval works of art come from churches that were flooded by the construction of the reservoir.

water sports

The place has access to the swimming lake. There are two boat docks. It is possible to rent sailboats and kayaks. The local mountain stream Mizerzanka was dammed and converted into a bathing lake.
